Yes. It is completely free, with no paid tier, and you do not need an account. You are given a temporary guest handle as soon as you start.
How do I join the Divergent chat room?
Open the room and press Join room. Anyone can join, with or without an account. Once you are in, you can read the conversation and send messages straight away.
Can I chat in the Divergent room without an account?
Yes. Guests can join and send messages. An account is only needed to create your own rooms or to keep track of people you have met.
